Staci & Ronnie Schoepf

Nestled just off I-35 on Central Ave in Belton, Schoepf’s BBQ welcomes you with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Schoepf’s BBQ was established in 1993, and purchased in August, 2007 by Ronnie & Staci Schoepf, from Ronnie’s parents.

Since purchasing the restaurant, Ronnie & Staci have completely restructured the business. From a revamped food menu, to a complete remodel of the location.

With the new look and feel, along with serving proprietary meats & prime brisket, they have turned Schoepf’s into a Central Texas must-visit location.

In addition, Schoepf’s BBQ has introduced live music to the Belton area with Schoepf’s Backyard in 2009 and it recently was awarded the Texas Country Music Award for “Live Music Venue of The Year”.

Today, Schoepf’s BBQ is known a Texas Barbecue destination everyone raves about.

Stopped in on Sunday 10/22. Second time here and it was even better. Reminds me of an old time favorite from my hometown. The moist brisket was perfect with minimal fat and great smoke flavor. The The Oaxaca & Poblano sausage was very tasty and had good texture. I got the cole slaw, potato salad, and pinto beans. All very good but the pinto beans were excellent. Service from the meat counter through side selection and then payment was great. All very nice and helpful. My GOTO place now on travel stops. Thank you.

Fantastic and craveable food, friendly and welcoming employees, and a comfortable atmosphere where I can go to relax and enjoy a satisfying meal. This place was recommended to me by my husband, and I'm so happy he told me about Schoepf's. I've since recommended it to everyone I know, and I've introduced my mother to Schoepf's. Prices are reasonable considering the food quality is top notch and the portion sizes are generous. Two people can share the nachos, for example. I only wish I could eat here every day. Do yourself a favor and try their brisket grilled cheese sandwich, though everything I've tried has been delicious. The hubby recommends the pulled pork sandwich and pulled pork nachos.
